Environmental stewardship is being embraced by Alberta’s municipal leaders more and more as the right and responsible choice. Energy management is a good step for municipalities to take both for budgetary and environmental savings. Energy Management projects can also support sustainable planning by having positive impact in other areas. If it can be measured, reported and demonstrated then it should become a reality.

AMSC is continuing to develop the Energy Aggregation Program to help municipalities demonstrate, qualify and track energy efficiencies.
