We are pleased to offer a new suite of services, including the Alberta Communities Pension Plan, Group RRSP and Tax Free Savings Accounts.

SERVICES>> These are a benefit of your current AUMA Regular or Associate Membership	ALBERTA COMMUNITIES PENSION PLAN	GROUP RRSP	TAX FREE SAVINGS ACCOUNT	APEX	MuniSERP
	Eligible participants are elected officials paid on a salaried basis and employees who do not participate in the Local Authorities Pension Plan.  At retirement, the accumulated member and employer contributions with investment earnings provide retirement benefit options.	Employer contributions are optional.  The rate of employee contributions is determined by the employee.  Employees may withdraw their contributions with investment earnings at any time.	Permits participants to save up to $5,000 per calendar year from January 1, 2009 onward.  All withdrawals are tax free.  No eligibility restrictions.	Together APEX and LAPP permit members to accure the maximum registered pension plan benefit allowable.  Cost sharing by employers and employees.  Employers designate classes of employees for participation.	MuniSERP targets senior management to provide additional retirement benefits beyond APEX and LAPP.  The benefits are financed annuallly by the employer.  Employees are taxed only upon receipt of their benefit
