A progressive and action oriented County in central Alberta is seeking a Director of Public Works. As Director, you report directly to the CAO of the County. 

This individual is responsible for:

• The operation and management of the County’s infrastructure, including transportation, road construction and utilities
• Managing the regular maintenance and construction duties of the County
• Managing and overseeing the County’s safety programs.

The County is seeking an individual with:

• Extensive experience in road construction and maintenance
• Previous municipal government experience
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Budgeting and financial management experience
• Strong computer skills.
