Rural Municipalities of Alberta (RMA), Alberta Urban Municipal Association (AUMA), and Infrastructure and Asset Management Alberta (IAMA), are excited to bring you two-day asset management capacity-building workshops for municipal staff! Through support of the Government of Canada and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) workshops will be offered free of charge.
This workshop is designed to be an introduction to asset management for municipal staff only.
What will you get out of the workshop? You’ll understand what asset management is, and how to integrate this into your everyday work. You will gain an understanding of FCM’s Municipal Asset Management Program (MAMP), and understand where you are on your journey and have a clear path to improve your asset management readiness. Participants will be provided an overview of existing data both within their organization as well as public resources, that they can use to kickstart their asset management plan development.
