The Town of High Prairie is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, energetic and self motivated individual to serve as the Heavy Equipment Technician. This person would be expected to maintain all Town of High Prairie vehicles and equipment including High Prairie Fire Trucks and Zamboni. Do mechanical work in the water plant, at lift stations, swimming pool and work on sewer collection and water distribution systems. Maintain neat and accurate records of all equipment. Have knowledge of and obey all safety regulations and orders.
Applicants should possess/provide the following:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class 3 Drivers License with Air Brake endorsement
- Must provide a current driver abstract
- Provide Criminal Records Check
- Ability to weld and paint.
- Heavy Equipment Technician Certificate
