Job Description : 

Reporting to the Chief Administrative Office and participating as a member of the senior management team, the Operations and Planning Services Director will provide leadership, coordination and delivery of services for assigned portfolios. 

The Director will coordinate the design, construction and maintenance of municipal infrastructure and oversee and direct all aspects of the engineering and technical aspects of Operations and oversee the review and approval of Developer contributed infrastructure, and subdivision construction. 

Areas of responsibilities include, but are not limited to: engineering and project management, regional services, equipment, fleet and mechanical services and all aspects of the City's Planning and Development Department.   Currently, the Director is appointed the CAO of the North Red Deer Regional Wastewater Services Commission
