The City of St. Albert is currently recruiting a Senior Asset Management Analyst to join the Engineering Department.
Reporting to the Manager of Growth Engineering and Asset Management, the Senior Asset Management Analyst will ensure that a number of internal stakeholders examine asset management in a consistent level incorporating all aspects of maintenance, risk, asset deprecation, and field observations and ensure a consistent forecasting approach is maintained throughout the City of St. Albert. The Analyst will provide the inputs and coordination for the management tools pertaining to asset management throughout the City and ensure that these assets are accounted for and timely investment data is made available for reports. Some of the assets include roads, sidewalks, water, sewer, storm, bridges, reservoirs, buildings, play structures, etc.
The Senior Asset Management Analyst will manage the leases and land holdings throughout the City and provide recommendations to any changes and/or releases of holdings. They will, in conjunction with relevant stakeholders throughout the department, provide support in long term planning documents as it pertains to planning for new Civic facilities throughout the City, and support the Planning and Development department.
The individual we seek has a thorough knowledge of the various types of municipal assets, and a sound understanding of asset and financial management, and/including performance measures. The position requires an understanding of the workings and needs of the City and its business practices, management techniques, reporting formats, and project evaluation. The Analyst must possess a high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to foster strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
HOURS OF WORK
We offer a compressed work schedule of 72 hours bi-weekly (Monday - Friday, 8:00 – 5:00 with a regular day off [RDO} every two weeks).
$74,438 - $90,565 per annum. In addition, the City of St. Albert offers a generous and comprehensive flexible benefit package.
